80 new jobs created in Limerick as first Marks and Spencers food outlet opens

No Repro Fee Applegreen Clondrinangh Opens Applegreen, one of Ireland’s leading roadside retailers, has officially opened its doors to customers at a new location at the Clondrinagh Roundabout in Limerick, (V94E934) bringing over 80 new jobs to the local area, as part of an investment of €10 million. The new location will provide a fully operational service-station forecourt and bring several exciting brands to Clondrinagh, including M&S Food, Braeburn Coffee, Subway, and a Bakewell deli, as well as a children’s play area. Applegreen has opened a brand-new roadside service station in Clondrinagh today, following a €10 million investment.  

The brand-new one stop shop includes an M&S Food Outlet, Braeburn Coffee, Subway, Bakewell Deli, as well as a Burger King restaurant and Drive-Thru, which will be open from 11am to 11pm. 

It also features a Click & Collect service for selected M&S Clothing and Home product ranges, and a children’s play area. 

Through Applegreen’s partnership with M&S Food, the store in Clondrinagh will feature a variety of M&S Food ranges, including fresh fruit, salads, Irish sandwiches, and great quality fresh flowers. Fan favourite M&S treats, such as Percy Pig sweets, M&S cookies, and Colin the Caterpillar cakes, will also be available on-site.  

It will also feature a Click & Collect service for selected M&S Clothing and Home product ranges.

Applegreen Ireland Managing Director, Fiona Matthews said:

The service station will be open 24/7, 7 days a week, and marks Applegreen’s continuous expansion across Munster, becoming its fourth location in Limerick.
