Business leaders and Limerick GAA will combine on Friday November 13 at a business breakfast hosted by Club Limerick in the Strand Hotel.
Club Limerick was founded to bring together Limerick business people who share a love of GAA.
Its aim is to encourage networking and the growth of local businesses.
The theme of Friday’s breakfast is ‘The Business of Sport’.
The event will start with breakfast between seven and eight and will be followed in the next hour by guest presentations by Limerick Manager T.J. Ryan, Liam Sheedy and Henry Shefflin of Bank of Ireland.
The final hour of the event will be devoted to networking, where all those attending will have the opportunity to engage with the guests presenters and other like-minded business men and women.
Since its humble beginnings in July of 2015, Club Limerick has gone from strength to strength and Friday’s event is the first of many such corporate-style events planned.
The group is the brainchild of John Loftus, Commercial Manager of Limerick GAA.
John, who hails from Ballybrown, has worked with and supported Limerick GAA for over thirty years and has held the position of Commercial Manager for the past two and a half years.
Club Limerick has held several networking sessions in the last six months at Limerick venues such as Mary Immaculate College, the Lime Tree Theatre, McGettigan’s Pub and the Adare Manor Golf Club.
