New beginnings are in store for Limerick woman Aoife McNamara as she opens her first studio and store space in Adare village.

Only a year after the brands birth, Aoife Ireland is the latest addition to the row of cottages in the village of Adare in County Limerick.

The 24-year-old took to Instagram saying, “Here she is, our first @aoife_ireland studio/shop, an Irish cottage located in the magical Adare village…..can’t believe I am actually typing this – feels like a dream!!!!”

The Fashion Designer of the Year 2020 nominee launched Aoife Ireland back in 2019, following a 6-month stint working in Paris.

She has been making her mark on the Irish fashion scene since before she graduated- dressing the likes of top Irish beauty mogul and founder of SoSu products, Suzanna Jackson, whilst still studying fashion design at Limerick School of Art and Design.

Since then her success has soared, going on to dress many other Irish fashion A-listers such as Erika Fox, Louise Cooney, Rozanna Purcell and more.

Aoife Ireland is committed to creating sustainable items of clothing that empower women.

“My pieces are tailormade for the powerful and ambitious woman’s wardrobe. I hope that in the moment’s #WearingAoife, you achieve your wildest dreams”, says Aoife on the Aoife Ireland website.

The brand also strives to be a creative hub for other blooming Irish artists and currently includes bespoke headband designer, Aisling Kavanagh, artist, Clíodhna Doherty, and printmaker, Nicola Long.

Aoife hopes to be able to open in time for Christmas.
