Dance Limerick call out for student volunteers

CHAMELON BY KATE COOLEY

Interested in dance? Well we’ve got good news for you!

Dance Limerick have issued a callout for students to take part in their group as a part of the Light Moves Festival in November. If aged between 18-30, you could be one of ten people to form an intergenerational community focus group!

The group will meet on four occasions during early November for a series of workshops. The workshops will explore themes of climate and landscapes, inspired by Rosemary Lee’s artistic work.

Rosemary Lee is a choreographer, director and performer. The past 30 years have seen the artist create works ranging from live performances that are often site-specific and involve a cross-section of the community (both professional and non-professional dancers) all the way to dance films and installations.

This call out could be a great opportunity for those interested in dance to explore their creativity, meet new people, and share their interest in nature and dance.

Dance Limerick have a number of upcoming programmes which can be found in their online brochure.
