The Global Spring Festival 2025 kicks off this week at the University of Limerick tomorrow, Wednesday 12.

The festival runs from Wednesday 12 to March 13, providing a jam-packed 2-day itinerary for students and staff.

With a wide range of events over the two days, there is something for everyone to get involved with.

Yvonne Crosse, International Student Engagement Officer

“It’s a time to embrace diversity, to promote understanding, and create a space where students can share their traditions through a series of events that include food, music and dance and much more” says Yvonne Crosse, the International Student Engagement Officer.

The festival is designed with international students in mind as Yvonne says “For many international students, studying abroad can be both exciting and challenging. The Global Festival provides an opportunity for students to be an integral part of the UL community.”

Previous years have seen students and staff from all around the world come together to share their culture and national identity.

“It highlights the importance of diversity and inclusion, enriching the campus environment and offering a space where every student’s identity can be celebrated” Yyvone adds.
