The University Concert Hall at the University of Limerick has topped other venues in the Mid-West once again winning the ‘Best Art, Sport and Culture’ Award.
Speaking on the win, general manager Sinead Hope said, “This award has been a real boost and incentive to keep up the hard work.”
“We are delighted to have won the Limerick Chamber Award for the second year running, we see it as acknowledgement and recognition of the contribution the venue has made to Limerick and the wider Mid-West region, as well as the exciting developments within the organisation recently,” she continued.
Such new developments at UCH include a new film screening projector, new technical equipment to enhance production facilities and new online booking enhancements.
The UL based venue now employs 56 full time and part time staff and runs a packed schedule including the upcoming ‘Beauty and the Beast’ pantomime which opens December 19.
