The iconic venue has played host to some of music’s biggest stars like Fontaines D.C, Sinead O’Connor, Calvin Harris and many more.
This December, the Milk Market on Cornmarket Row will once again be transformed into a music venue for some top quality gigs that Shannonsiders are clambering to get tickets to. Some of the shows have already sold out but a select few still have tickets up for grabs.
One of the sold out gigs is Limerick’s very own Kingfishr, who recently had another sold out show in Dolan’s on October 13. Their gig on Saturday, December 9 is sure to be a special one as the Treaty City welcomes back one of its own with open arms to play their biggest headline show to date.
The three-piece folk band only released their debut single last year and have already cemented themselves as an Irish act to watch. This Summer, they impressed concert-goers when they supported George Ezra on tour. The group received rave reviews after their opening set for the Budapest singer at the 3Olympia.
Another Munster grown act, breakout star Cian Ducrot, has also sold out the Milk Market. The ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ singer will take to the stage on Monday, December 11 after an incredible year relishing in the success of his 2023 album; Victory.
If you didn’t manage to grab tickets for these gigs before they were snatched up by eager music lovers, not to worry, there are still tickets left to see Damian Dempsey, The Academic and Hermitage Green.
The Academic’s Limerick gig comes in the middle of their stint as one of the opening acts for Louis Tomlinson’s Faith in the Future tour. They’ll be bringing the same electric energy to the Milk Market that has been wowing fans on the former One Direction star’s tour.
The remaining tickets are available for purchase here.
