Sitting outside the uber-stylish Café, Fika Coffee on Catherine Street, Limerick voice reporter Martin Warde caught up with singer Emma Langford. Langford shared her thoughts on a conference she attended in Limerick.
The conference was called “All About Death”, which examined the role women play during a death.
From traditional Keeners to end of life holistic approaches, the conference discussed it all.
“There was even a discussion about Mushroom suits, which are basically eco-friendly suits that help the body decompose organically”, Langford told Limerick Voice.
Emma hopes to use the topic of death and bereavement to inform her music, as she feels it is an important part of reflection as a performer and creative.
