How the pandemic has affected UL international students

Every year students from all over the world attend the University of Limerick for a semester as part of the Erasmus program.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Universities throughout Ireland have adopted online teaching methods this semester, which has resulted in many international students being unable to travel to Limerick for the year.

Henan Polytechnic University (HPU) is a Chinese university with a long-term cooperative relationship with UL.

Every year it sends a certain number of students to UL but this year there have been changes to program due to COVID-19.

Limerick Voice reporter, Luyao Liu, went to the Henan University campus to see what people think of this years program:
