University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded hospital in the country today with 61 patients on trollies.
According to figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisations, a staggering 49 patients are on trollies in the Emergency Department while 12 more are awaiting beds in the wards.
Last November, UHL broke the overcrowding record with 66 patients on trollies.
This is the highest levels of overcrowding at the hospital since the newly-built Emergency Department was officially opened in May.
In total, 343 patients are awaiting a bed across the country today.
