A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a late-night collision on the N24, prompting Gardaí to seek dash-cam footage and witness reports.
Gardaí are seeking witnesses to a road traffic incident that took place in Limerick shortly after midnight on Wednesday, March 12.
Emergency services responded to a collision between a car and a pedestrian on the N24 at Milltown at approximately 12:10 a.m.
The male pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick for treatment. The female driver was also taken to the hospital as a precaution.
To allow for a forensic examination by Garda Collision Investigators, the N24 remains closed in both directions.
Gardaí are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. Road users who were in the area between 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. and may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, are asked to provide it to investigators.
