Arson attack in Limerick suburb overnight

It occurred in Corbally in the early hours of this morning

A house and a car in the Corbally area of Limerick city were the target of a fire-bomb attack in the early hours of this Monday morning.

It occured at The Meadows, Lower Park, Corbally. A garda spokesperson said that the attack happened at around 3am.  

“An improvised device containing an accelerant was thrown at a car and a domestic residence. No injuries have been reported at this time,” said the garda spokesperson.  

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who has information to please come forward.  

They are particularly interested in a black SUV that was found with fire damage in the Corbally area. Anyone that has video footage from their mobile phone or dash-cam have been urged by the gardaí to come forward.
