BREAKING: UL campus to close until Wednesday

The University of Limerick (UL) campus will be closed from midnight tonight until Wednesday 8 December due to Met Éireann weather warning for Limerick and Clare.

University of Limerick campus and facilities will close from midnight tonight and throughout tomorrow Tuesday 7 December.

Students and staff should not travel to campus on Tuesday 7 December.

UL campus and facilities will reopen as normal on Wednesday morning.  

On campus examinations scheduled to take place Tuesday 7 December will be moved to a new date within the next two weeks.  A revised timetable will be published in the coming days.

Online examinations scheduled for Tuesday 7 December 2021 will go-ahead as planned. Any student taking online exams should note that in the event of disruption of power or broadband services the option of COVID I-grades is available.

Residents of UL campus accommodation are advised to remain indoors for the duration of Tuesday 7 December. 

We would advise all staff & students to take extra care due to ‘severe and potentially damaging winds’.
