The explosions occurred on Hyde Road in the early hours of July 15, 2023
A man has been arrested this morning Tuesday, March 8 in connection with incidents of explosions in Limerick city that occurred almost two years ago.
The explosions happened outside two homes at Hyde Road in Limerick city, one man was treated for injuries to his arm which were said to be non-life threatening at the time.
Gardaí attached to the crime office at Roxboro Road Garda Station arrested a man in his 20’s this morning and he has since been conveyed to a Garda Station in Limerick.
He is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 30 of Offences Against the State Act.
Gardaí have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
