The Limerick-based band will now play Thursday, March 21, and Friday, March 22, at the Dublin venue.
Limerick-based three-piece outfit, Kingfishr, have announced a further date in Dublin’s 3Olympia after their first date sold out in mere minutes.
Only a year and a half into releasing music, and yet to release a full body of work, the trio have firmly made their name in the Irish music scene – garnering fans faster than you can book gig tickets!
Becoming friends through their time at the University of Limerick, Edmond Keogh, Eoghan McGrath, and Eoin Fitzgibbon, have taken the music world by storm.
In April 2022 they released their debut single ‘flowers-fire’ and have since toured with George Ezra, opened for Dermot Kennedy, Bruce Springsteen, and Newton Faulkner, kicked off the main stage at Electric Picnic 2023 – and now they’re headed for a sold out 3Olympia.
With some of their tracks sitting at almost two-million Spotify streams, it’s easy to see why!
Announcing their second night at the 3Olympia with an Instagram video taken in their shared kitchen, the trio captioned the post: “NIGHT 2 AT THE OLYMPIA! We’re doing another night. There’s no getting our heads around this thing, we love yee all to bits. These are gonna be the best craic of all time.”
Tickets for Kingfishr at the 3Olympia on Thursday, March 21, 2024, are on sale this Friday, November 17, at 10am on Ticketmaster.
