Limerick City and County Council have announced the development of nine new social housing units in Church Glen, Ballylanders, Co. Limerick.
The project, valued at €2,598,286 (excluding VAT), marks a significant step forward in addressing the communities housing needs.
The new development is under the watch of Jada Projects Limited and will consist of five houses (one 3-bed unit, three 2-bed units, and one 1-bed unit) and four 1-bed apartments.
The site, a greenfield location within the existing Church Glen housing estate, will undergo extensive landscaping, including new footpaths, a new entrance, and boundary treatments that incorporate and protect existing native hedgerows. Additionally, the existing foul and storm drainage systems servicing the site will be upgraded as part of the work.
