Tributes have been paid to the victim of a road traffic collision in Kilmallock last week.
A man in his 60s who died in a road traffic collision over the bank holiday weekend has been named as father-of-three Dan Curtin.
The collision involving a motorbike and a car took place in Kilmallock at approximately 2pm last Friday, February 2nd.
Originally hailing from Tournafulla, Dan was a resident of Dromahane in North Cork. A community man at heart, Dan was an active member of the Old Bulls Motorcycle Club and Kilshannig GAA Club, both of whom paid tribute on social media.
On Facebook, a spokesperson Kilshannig GAA said:
“Dan was a selector with a few different juvenile teams down through the years, and he will be greatly missed. May Dan rest in peace.”
Dan is survived by his wife Marion, his three children Eoin, Ruth and Brian, his siblings, and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
