The cycle is suitable for all and is a fun event. Santa suits and festive lights for your bike will be provided on the night.
Limerick Santa Cycle 2022 will be in memory of Limerick man Alan Kavanagh, who sadly passed away in 2020.
Milford Care Centre was first established by the Little Company of Mary Sisters in 1928 and now provides Specialist Palliative Care and Older Persons Services in the Mid-West.
Speaking on the importance of the event and the positive outcome it provides, event organiser Ray O’Dell said, “Our aim is to raise much needed funds for Milford Hospice & Care Centre, who do incredible work locally and for Limerick.
“Friends, family and neighbors have all or will have to use the services of Milford Hospice and this fundraiser will be a small contribution to help to continue their phenomenal work.”
There will also be Raffle on the night & prizes for those that register early, the best Santa costumes and the most lit-up bike.
There will also be finger food and refreshments after the cycle in The Hurlers Bar.
“This event is in memory of a very close friend of ours Alan Kavanagh who was cared for by Milford in his final few weeks and the event is in his memory… We hope this event will continue year on year and we aim to exceed our donation yearly,“ O’Dell stated.
