Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention launch new mental health podcast

Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention have launched a new podcast.

The ‘Life is for Living’ podcast will offer listeners advice on how to overcome the different struggles they may face, such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and all things associated with mental health. 

The podcast currently offers a total of five episodes, each one focusing on a different topic.

In episode one, former 2FM broadcaster Keith Walsh shares his own personal battle with mental health.

Commenting health on the launch of the new podcast series, LTSP Public Relations Officer Ashley Carroll, said “The aim of this podcast is clear, and that is to raise awareness on Mental health and Suicide prevention, something that is a great concern in our city at the moment. The guests we will have on this channel will have encountered their own struggles with Mental Health.”

Limerick Treaty Suicide Prevention was set-up in 2018 with only six members to their name.

LTSP has since grown to over 40 volunteers, each one working tirelessly towards suicide prevention in Limerick.
