UL to host string of Charity Week events

UL Student Life have announced the long- awaited acts that will be performing in the courtyard during Charity Week 2022.

This promises to be a great charity week, with Cabal in the Courtyard, Wild Youth, Lea Heart and Shane Codd taking to the courtyard stage.

This year, Charity Week will be taking place during academic week 11, from April 4-7, marking the first official in person Charity Week since 2020.

Charity Week, formerly known as Raise and Give Week (RAG) is a week organised by universities in an effort to raise much needed funds for dedicated charities chosen by the student’s union.

The UL Student Life team have confirmed they will be donating all funds raised to deserving charities Irish Community Rapid Response unit and the Limerick City branch of the Irish Red Cross.

UL Student Life president Cillian O’ Donoghue highlighted his excitement in an email sent to students, saying: “We didn’t get to have a Charity Week in 2021 due to Covid-10. So, we want to make this Charity Week the best one yet!”
