Undergraduate and postgraduate students invited to submit dissertation-based proposals exploring art or women’s history linked to the Yeats sisters and their era
The Yeats Sisters Commemoration Project Early Researchers’ Platform 2025 is accepting proposals from undergraduate and postgraduate students from today, April 7, until Wednesday, April 30.
The project is aimed at students who, in researching a dissertation study, have discovered a compelling story. The work must fall within the realm of art or women’s history and have a connection to either the Yeats sisters, the period they lived and worked in, or the wider themes of the Arts and Crafts movement and/or the Irish Revival period.
One student will be selected for the opportunity to present their work in a 15-minute slot at the Yeats Sisters Project’s annual symposium, which will be held in Dundrum, County Dublin, on July 12, 2025.
Applications should include a 250-word abstract of the proposed paper, the college course being undertaken, and/or details of the academic supervisor. These should be emailed to theyeatssisters@gmail.com.
The selected researcher will be notified by the end of May 2025.
There is no fee to apply, but a small honorarium will be presented to the chosen researcher. Further details available here: https://theyeatssisters.com/news/
