General Election 2024: Scramble for Limerick City’s Fourth seat kicks off

70% of the tally boxes have officially been opened in the Limerick City Count

Willie O’Dea (FF) is out in front in Limerick City in the initial tallies, holding 20% of votes in the General Election as of 11:55 a.m.

In second place, as it stands, is Maurice Quinlivan (SF) holding 14% of the votes counted till now. Following up is Kieran O’Donnell (FG) holding 13%

Maurice Quinlivan told the Limerick Voice: “I just want to thank everybody who came out and voted for me. What’s really positive in the national results is the huge number of young people who came out and voted for Sinn Fein.”
