Count nine has now been released for Limerick City. No candidates have reached the quota in this count.
Maurice Quinlivan (SF) is almost at the finish with 8242 votes. Just 190 votes from achieving his seat in the Dáil.
Kieran O’Donnell (FG) remains in third with 6782 votes.
This count saw a significant spike for Aontú’s Sarah Beasley receiving 550 votes now sitting with 3336 votes.
The race for the fourth seat is still hotly contested seeing Elisa O’Donovan (SD) leading with 3997 votes, and Conor Sheehan (LAB) close behind with 3867 votes.
Maria Byrne has now been eliminated as she received the lowest number of votes in count nine, receiving 3173 votes.
