John Kiely has made six changes to his Limerick team for Saturday nights round six clash with Galway in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Shane Dowling, Sean Finn, Kyle Hayes, William O’Donoghue, Tom Morrissey, and Aidan O’Connor all come into the team, replacing Jason Gillane, Ethan Hurley, David Reidy, Seamus Flanagan, and Eddie Stokes. The replaced players have had to settle for a place on the bench while Diarmaid Byrnes sits out this weekend after his straight red card in the defeat to Clare last Sunday.

Shane Dowling returns to the nets, with Kyle Hayes making his first start since picking up an injury after a collision with Tipperary captain Ronan Maher last month.

William O’Donoghue partners Adam English in midfield for the first time since the draw with Cork, whilst Tom Morrissey starts his first game of the season after a brief appearance of the bench against Clare which was his first time to dawn the green jersey since last July.

Cian Lynch captains the side and from centre forward with Morrissey and Cathal O’Neill in what is a very exciting looking half forward line.

After impressing as expected since the start of the season, Aaron Gillane lines out in the full forward line, alongside Kilmallock danger man Shane O’Brien and Ballybrown’s Aidan O’Connor.

Victory for Kiely’s men will leave them on five points, level with Cork and above Kilkenny, before both counties play their respective games on Sunday afternoon. The Rebels are set to take on All-Ireland champions Clare, while Kilkenny hosts Tipperary.

Throw in is at 7.30 pm with the game being shown live on TG4. You can still buy tickets here.
