Eight changes to Munster side for sell-out Edinburgh clash in Cork

The Munster side has been named for tonight’s sold-out URC Round 12 clash against Edinburgh at Virgin Media Park (7.35 pm, live on TG4).

There are eight changes to the side that recorded a bonus-point win against Scarlets last time out as Niall Scannell captains the side.
Calvin Nash and John Hodnett have been released from the Ireland camp and are named in the starting XV.

Nash and Hodnett along with Alex Nankivell, Shay McCarthy, Niall Scannell, John Ryan, Evan O’Connell and Brian Gleeson all start.
Nankivell is a notable inclusion, making his return from injury after being out of action since December.

Ben O’Connor, Nash, and McCarthy are named in the back three. Nankivell and Tom Farrell are in midfield, and Ethan Coughlan and Billy Burns are the half-back duo.

Josh Wycherley, Scannell and Ryan are in the front row with O’Connell and Fineen Wycherley in the second row. Tom Ahern, Hodnett and Gleeson start in the back row.

On the bench, Diarmuid Barron, Mark Donnelly and Stephen Archer cover the front-row back-up with Ruadhan Quinn and Alex Kendellen completing the forward cover.

In the backs, Paddy Patterson, Tony Butler and Seán O’Brien are set to feature.
