Interim Head Coach Simon Easterby has named his Ireland squad for Saturday’s Guinness Men’s Six Nations clash with France.
Caelan Doris returns to captain the Irish side, joined by Finley Bealham and Jack Conan in a trio set to win their 50th caps for the country.
It will be a landmark day for another trio, with Peter O’Mahony, Conor Murray and Cian Healy all in line for their final home Ireland appearances, having made the decision to retire from the international game at the end of this tournament.
O’Mahony starts, the Munster man flanking captain Doris alongside Leinster’s Josh van der Flier, with Joe McCarthy and Tadhg Beirne named as the two locks.
Bealham joins Andrew Porter and Dan Sheehan in the front row, while Jamison Gibson-Park and Sam Prendergast will line out at scrum-half and fly-half respectively.
Bundee Aki partners Robbie Henshaw in midfield, with James Lowe, Hugo Keenan and Jamie Osborne rounding out a strong Irish side.
Ireland have won all three of their Six Nations outings this term, one better than the French who fell to defeat at the hands of England last month.
Kick-off is set for 2:15pm in the Aviva Stadium this Saturday.
