Reigning provincial champions Limerick will face Cork in a Munster semi-final.
John Kiely’s side will be aiming to win their third provincial title in a row against a Cork side who they have not beaten since 2013.
On the opposite side of the draw Clare will face last year’s All-Ireland finalists Waterford in the quarter finals with the winners facing Tipperary in the next round.
The 2021 Munster senior hurling champions will be presented with a new cup which honours the memory of Limerick hurling legend Mick Mackey.
This year’s Hurling Championship will use a back door route so if a team loses in the Provincial Championships, they will then enter the qualifiers.
The 2021 Munster senior hurling final is due to take place on the weekend of July 17-18.
