The 2023 Rugby World Cup winner will leave the province at the end of the season
Jean Kleyn, John Hodnett and Liam Coombes have all extended their contracts with Munster while RG Snyman will depart once the season ends, the club have confirmed.
2022/23 Munster player of the year Kleyn and Hodnett have both signed two-year extensions while Coombes has extended his stay at the province for another year.
The news comes as bittersweet however as two-time World Cup winner RG Snyman will not be extending his contract past this season. The 28-year-old, who is currently sidelined, will be seeking a new playing opportunity.
The Springbok has been unlucky with injuries during his time at the province, suffering two knee injuries that ruled him out for the majority of his first two seasons at the club.
On the other hand, fellow South African Kleyn has made 137 appearances for Munster and was sensational in their URC triumph last season.
John Hodnett, who scored the winner for Graham Rowntree’s side in the URC final last year, has made 45 appearances thus far while Liam Coombes will add to his 19 once he recovers from his shoulder injury.
