Munster Rugby advertise jobs

Munster Rugby and the IRFU are now inviting applications for three roles in the Greencore Munster Rugby Academy.

The Greencore Munster Rugby Academy has produced players including Conor Murray, Keith Earls, Peter O’Mahony and Craig Casey.

The province are searching for an Academy Manager, Elite Player Development Officer and a Part Time Performance Nutritionist.

The successful applicant for the Academy Manager position will be offered a three-year fixed-term contract.

A statement published by Munster Rugby states: “The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and identification of players for the professional game in Munster & Ireland with specific focus on Academy, National Talent Squad (NTS) and Provincial Talent Squad (PTS) players.”

The successful applicant for the Elite Player Development Officer role will be offered a two-year fixed- term contract.

“The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and identification of players for the professional game in Munster & Ireland with specific focus on Academy, National Talents Squad (NTS) & Provincial Talent Squad (PTS) players and primary coaching responsibility for Forwards with Academy, NTS & PTS players.”

The Part-Time Performance Nutritionist is a two-year fixed- term contract

“The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of a player-centered nutrition support service to players in the following groups to optimize their health, development and performance:

Academy
National Talent Squad (NTS)
National U20 players (not in NTS).”

All post holders will be based in the High Performance Centre in the University of Limerick.

The deadline to apply for each position is March 2.
