Treaty United announce squad for inaugural league campaign

Treaty United manager Tommy Barrett has announced his 26 man squad for Treaty United’s upcoming SSE Airtricity League First Division campaign.

With the Limerick side only receiving formal approval in compete in the league a week ago, Barrett has been busy putting a panel together.

However, he has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot since returning home with spells at Waterford FC and Cork City.

Clyde O’Connell, once of Fairview Rovers is a notable signing that can be used in either defence or midfield. He scored the winning goal in the FAI Junior Cup final last year against Usher Celtic.

In the defence, Alan Murphy, previously of Fairview while Aaron Fitzgerald who lined out for Janesboro are joined by former St Michael’s captain Sean Guerin

Former Shamrock Rovers and Cork City winger Joel Custrain has been added to the ranks with Barrett aiming to reinvigorate the playmaker’s career.
