Tommy Barrett’s side claimed a late draw away to Dundalk last time out

Treaty United will welcome Wexford to Markets Field in matchday five of the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division tonight. The Limerick side could finish the weekend in top spot if results from elsewhere go their way.

Tommy Barrett’s side left it late last time out to secure a dramatic 2-2 draw with early table toppers Dundalk, as Lee Devitt’s 90th minute equaliser made it three games unbeaten since the opening day defeat to Cobh Ramblers.

Devitt has been in excellent form this season, having found the back of the net in every game so far, which included a hat trick in their 5-0 demolition of Athlone Town on matchday two.

Wexford had a perfect start to the season as they surged their way to 3-0 and 2-0 wins over UCD and Bray Wanderers respectively, before falling to their first defeat of the season at home to Athlone Town last week.

Wexford boss Stephen Elliott will be heading into this game without both Luke Kehir and Jack Larkin, as both were forced off early due to injury against Athlone and will also potentially be travelling without captain Aaron Dobbs, Conor Levingston and central defender Dean Larkin.

Treaty left back Richkov Boevi, impressed during last weekend’s draw and will be hoping to light up the home crowd once again, while Corey Chambers will be hoping to collect a first clean sheet at home.

The student program allowing you to purchase a student ticket and bring a friend at no cost will also be in effect for this match. The offer is valid for all senior men’s and women’s games in February and March, enabling students to purchase two tickets for the cost of one.

Purchase your student ticket here or at the stadium entrance on match day. Kickoff is on Friday night in Markets Field is at 7.45 pm and will be shown live on LOI TV.
