The Cork comedy duo will bring their hit live show to University Concert Hall next February, with tickets going on sale this Saturday.
LIMERICK fans of I’m Grand Mam will finally get their chance to see beloved podcast hosts PJ Kirby and Kevin Twomey live, as the duo bring their show ‘Happy Campers’ to University Concert Hall on Thursday, February 11, 2027.
The pair admitted that bringing the show to Limerick was a priority after the city missed out on the first run of the tour.
“We couldn’t get to Limerick during the first run of this tour, so we made sure it was a top priority this time,” they said.
The duo also had a playful message for their Limerick audience, adding: “Otherwise, the Limerick girlies would never let us live it down! Can’t wait to come back and have a skit.”
The Limerick performance forms part of a newly announced run of Irish dates, alongside shows at Cork Opera House and Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre. With no further dates planned for ‘Happy Campers’, these performances will be among the final opportunities for fans to catch the production live.
Tickets for the University Concert Hall show go on sale at 10am on Saturday, October 31.
From podcast favourites to the live stage
Since launching I’m Grand Mam in 2019, the Cork natives have built a devoted following through their candid conversations, sharp humour and distinctly Irish takes on everyday life.
The pair developed the podcast while living in London, with its name reflecting the familiar reassurance many Irish people give their mothers back home that everything is grand.
What began as conversations between two friends has grown into a popular podcast, with listeners drawn to their honest discussions about relationships, friendships and everyday experiences. Their success has also extended beyond podcasting, including live performances and their 2023 book, The I’m Grand Mamual.
The upcoming Limerick date will be particularly welcome for local listeners who missed out on the first run of the tour. With the duo confirming that no additional dates are planned for ‘Happy Campers’, February offers one of the final chances to see the show.
