Child and three adults hospitalised following Limerick road accident

The two-vehicle collision occurred at the roundabout near the Crescent Shopping Centre yesterday evening 

A child and three adults were rushed to University Hospital Limerick following a two-vehicle collision yesterday evening, Thursday, November 7.

The accident occurred shortly before 9 pm at a roundabout beside the Crescent Shopping Centre in Ballykeefe.  

Gardaí confirmed, “Two women, aged in their 20s, a man, aged in his 30s, and a male child were taken to hospital as a precaution.” 

Members of the Limerick Fire and Rescue Service and the National Ambulance Service also responded to the emergency. 

It’s not yet known if anyone was injured as a result of the accident. Investigations are ongoing.
