Limerick on Ice will return to Arthur’s Quay Park this Christmas, marking its 20th anniversary as one of the city’s most popular seasonal attractions. The rink will be open from November 20th, 2025, until January 4th, 2026, offering everybody the chance to enjoy a classic festive activity in the heart of Limerick. 

Each skating session will last 45 minutes, with entry available to anyone aged three years and older. Tickets can be booked here, and organisers are encouraging early booking to secure preferred times, especially during weekends and the busy holiday period. 

“Limerick on Ice is back for more magical memories,” organisers said. “Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned skater, it’s the perfect place to make festive memories with friends and family. With twinkling lights, cosy surroundings, and the sound of skates on the ice, it’s a Christmas tradition not to be missed.” 

Since first opening two decades ago, Limerick on Ice has become a key part of the city’s winter calendar, attracting thousands of skaters each year. Its return for 2025 is expected to bring a boost to the local Christmas economy and add to the city’s festive atmosphere.
