Hugo Keenan locks down Ireland’s 12th win over Los Pumas on Irish soil.

IRELAND have officially moved into the top spot in the Northern Hemisphere table, after beating Argentina this Friday.

A routine Irish win of 42 – 12 also saw man of the match, Hugo Keenan pull off a well-deserved hat-trick.

Sam Prendergast was also one to watch, as he helped bring Ireland to victory with a 100% success rate with his five conversations.

One of which was off the back of his own try, which he managed after a 40-metre run down the gap through the Argentinian defence. This marks his first senior international try.

Captain Dan Sheehan and Rónan Kelleher got in on the nights action, having both landed themselves a try. Andy Farell’s team managed to secure a bonus-point win against the Argentinian squad.

Los Pumas did not help their case against the roaring Irish last night, as both Justo Piccardo and Efrain Elias picked up yellow cards.

The Ireland team are yet to lose to Argentina on Irish soil yet, now having extended their winning streak to 12 games.

Ireland are set to host Fiji next week in the Aviva Stadium in their fifth game of the Nations Championship.
