Investigations are underway surrounding the death of Jamie Bailey.
A TEENAGER has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of Limerick man Jamie Bailey.
The man, in his late teens, has been detained at a Garda Station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region, with investigations still ongoing.
Jamie, 38, was found by Gardaí outside an apartment block on Blackhorse Avenue, near Phoenix Park, in Dublin in the early hours of October 18.
The victim was rushed to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
It is understood that Jamie was known to Gardaí. He had been released from prison in May after serving multiple small sentences for petty crime.
The young grandfather was understood to have been involved in a personal dispute shortly before his attack.
Investigations are still ongoing, and Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
