Limerick will take on Cork in the quarter-finals of the Munster Senior Football Championship following the draw in GAA Headquarters.
These two sides met at the same stage of last year’s competition. The Rebels ran out nine-point victors in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
Fresh off a memorable Tailteann Cup run earlier this year, the Treaty men will be hoping for similar success when the championship commences. Should they take home the win, they will face the winners of the other quarter-final between Tipperary and Waterford.
On the other side of the draw, All-Ireland Champions Kerry will take on Clare in the second semi-final of the Munster Championship. It means a guaranteed final without a Kerry-Clare pairing for the first time since 2022. Kerry and Cork have been kept apart in the draw, despite the postponement of a proposed seeding to the Munster SFC.
