THE REPUBLIC of Ireland welcomes Kazakhstan to Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh tonight as they look to secure a place in the FIFA Women’s World Cup European play-off final.

Head coach Carla Ward has confirmed that Ireland have a fully fit squad available with Katie McCabe, Denise O’Sullivan and Marissa Sheva all returning after missing the first leg through suspension.

Ireland travelled to Astana for the opening fixture, with tonight’s result set to determine whether they advance to the final stage of the play-offs.

Kazakhstan head coach Begaim Kirgizbayeva was philosophical in the aftermath of the defeat to Ireland and acknowledged the challenge facing her side, saying Ireland had been physically stronger and individually superior.

Kirgizbayeva will be without leader Yulia Vlasislavania, who will serve a suspension after a red card in the first leg, leaving a decision for the head coach as to who will between the posts.

If Ireland progress, they will face either Belgium or Poland in the play-off final. Belgium currently hold a 1-0 aggregate lead in their tie.

10,000 tickets have been sold for the second leg in Cork.

Kick- off is at 7:30pm, with the match available to watch live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
