Na Piarsaigh and Kilmallock battle it out for glory in Limerick Senior Hurling Championship final.

NA PIARSAIGH arsaigh and Kilmallock will lock horns as they prepare to go head-to-head on Sunday.

Kilmallock are aiming for their first county final success since 2021, while Na Piarsaigh are the reigning champions, having won their ninth club championship in 2025.

The Kilmallock captain, Pierce Connery, impressed in the semi-final win over Monaleen, scoring 1-8 for his side. He will be aiming to replicate this feat to help his club come out on the right side of the final.

Keith Dempsey (0-9, 7 frees) and Kevin Downes (1-3) were the top scorers for Na Piarsaigh when they overcame Doon to win by five points.

Downes came off the bench to put in a Man of the Match performance. Na Piarsaigh will be hoping for a similar impact from their bench if they are to prevail as victors.

Neither side have any injury worries going into the final, so the preparations for the match by both teams will be smooth sailing.

The clash will be televised live on TG4 with throw in at 3:45pm in the Gaelic Grounds.

Recent History

These two sides have already met in this year’s championship. Kilmallock were one point to the better last time out against Sunday’s opponents in an opening weekend thriller.

Kilmallock topped their group while Na Piarsaigh needed a Round 3 win over Ballybrown to progress into the knockout stages. Will Kilmallock continue their dominance on Sunday, or is Na Piarsaigh peaking at the right time?

The referee for the Limerick Hurling Championship final will be John O’Halloran of the Bruree GAA club. This will be his third time officiating the final having previously been the man in the middle in 2024 and 2019.

Sunday’s winners will face Ballygunner of Waterford in the Munster Club Senior Hurling Championship semi-final on November 15th.
