Three members from this year’s Treaty United women’s team have been nominated for the 2025 SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division Awards ahead of its ceremony on November 14.

Midfield maestro Isabella Flocchini is in the running for Women’s Premier Division Player of the Year after a stellar season for the Shannonsiders.

The Nevada native’s second spell in Limerick has seen her become instrumental in helping Treaty to their best ever league finish, claiming the Premier Division Player of the Month in August.

Flocchini enters a category that is dominated by league winners Athlone Town, who claim four of the six available spots.

Teenage sensation Madison McGuane is in contention for Young Player of the Year after a rookie season to remember for the Limerick-born midfielder.

McGuane, who only turned 16 this past August, already received Player of the Month honours in May alongside winning this year’s Republic of Ireland Under-17 International Player of the Year.

And in a rather awkward turn of events, recently departed manager Sean Russell is in contention for this year’s Manager of the Year.

The 42’s Emma Duffy reported last month that Russell stepped down due to a lack of clarity around his future at the club after just one season in charge. First-team coach Craig Madigan also left the club with the former Limerick FC player.

The breakup came as a surprise, as Russell secured comfortable First Division survival along with helping the side to their aforementioned record points tally.

Russell is nominated alongside Athlone Town’s Colin Fortune and Alban Hysa of Bohemians.
