Treaty United’s Bella Flocchini has been named in the PFA Ireland Women’s Premier Division Team of the Year. It follows a starring campaign for the Shannonsiders, where she finished as the club’s top scorer.

The team, voted for by the players, features five from champions Athlone Town. One each comes from the runners-up Shelbourne, Galway United, Peamount United, Shamrock Rovers, Treaty United, and Wexford.

Now in her second spell with the club, the Nevada-born star played a pivotal role in a record-breaking season. It saw the team register their most wins, fewest defeats, and most goals in their Premier Division history. The midfielder bagged 13 goals for her side throughout the campaign. She netted on the final day in a 3-2 loss to Waterford.

She was awarded Fans’ Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year, and Management Player of the Year by Treaty United at the end of the season. Flocchini has already received a nomination for Women’s Premier Division Player of the Year. The ceremony is set to take place on November 14.

Her teammate Madison McGuane is in the running for Young Player of the Year, while former boss Sean Russell is in contention for Manager of the Year.
