It has been announced that Florence + the Machine is coming to Limerick for the very first time on June 27, 2026. This comes ahead of the release of the band’s new album, ‘Everybody Scream’, aptly releasing on Halloween. ‘Everybody Scream’ will be their sixth studio album. Tickets will also go on sale on Halloween (Friday 31st) at 9:00 am. They are expected to cost between €69.90 and €85.90.
Florence and the Machine’s performance in the Treaty City is a part of the ‘Everybody Scream’ tour around the UK, the EU, and the US. The Limerick show is one of two stops in Ireland, with another in Marlay Park in Dublin on June 28. Rachel Chinouriri will be the supporting act for both Irish shows.
Florence + The Machine have achieved number one albums such as ‘Lungs’ and ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’ in both the UK and the US, solidifying them as one of the greatest artists of their generation.
The band’s newest album is particularly special, as it follows the difficult journey Florence Welch undertook after having lifesaving surgery during the 2022 ‘Dance Fever’ tour. It is expected to explore a variety of themes such as spiritual mysticism, witchcraft and folk horror, making it no mystery why the band chose Halloween as the album’s release date.
This tour will be the band’s first performance in Ireland since 2023, when they played in Malahide Castle in Dublin. It will be their first ever performance in Limerick, making it a big event for Thomond Park.
This exciting announcement adds to Thomond Park’s impressive concert lineup for 2026, with big names like Lewis Capaldi and Pitbull also set to perform in the stadium.
