Daily match-day tickets for the 2027 Ryder Cup in Limerick sold out in less than an hour today, Friday, 24 April, following an exclusive priority sales window for residents of Ireland.

The release included a limited allocation of general admission tickets for the three match days; Friday, September 17, Saturday, September 18, and Sunday, September 19 – priced at €499 per day.

Demand was also strong for other ticket categories, with practice-day and weekly passes for the tournament at Adare Manor selling out within four hours.

Weekly tickets, covering Tuesday, September 14 to Sunday, September 19 were priced at €1,999. A restricted number of practice-day tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday were available from €89, while tickets for Thursday, set to include the opening ceremony, started at €179.

Only tickets secured via official Ryder Cup channels will be accepted.

More than 150,000 people across Ireland had pre-registered for early access, with the tickets allocated on a first-come first-served basis from 11am.

Richard Atkinson, the European Tour Group’s Chief Ryder Cup Officer, said demand had been “unprecedented”, adding “We know that Irish golf fans are amongst the most enthusiastic in the world and this is yet another reminder of that.”

Fans who were unsuccessful in this phase will have a second opportunity through a full public ballot, which opens to applicants worldwide Wednesday, June 3.
